Why The Day Off Diet Works

Most diets fail because they are too hard to stick with until you reach your goal weight. It’s not because they don’t help you lose weight because almost any diet can help you lose weight if you actually keep doing the program. This means the real key to a successful diet is whether or not you can stick with it for the long term.
This is the strongest point of The Day Off Diet in my opinion.
On other diet plans your cravings eventually get the best of you. It’s pretty much inevitable that if you go many weeks without eating your very favorite bad foods that you going to eventually give in to temptation and eat those foods. That is not so bad on its own. It’s the “downward fall” that it triggers that is the true problem.
When most people go off their diet plan to have the “bad for you” food that they’ve been craving it almost always means the end is near for that diet program. Usually within a few days of going off the diet program for “just one snack” the person is off that diet program for good (or not so good.)
The main idea with The Day Off Diet is that satisfying these relentless cravings is built into the diet program! Once a week for one day you get to eat whatever you like on this diet plan which means that you don’t ever have go more than six days without having the “bad food” that you crave. And because it is a basic part of the core of the diet plan it won’t have the same negative psychological effect that eating “bad foods” would have on a dieter on a regular diet.
This dieting plan also includes a strength training program which I strongly recommend for both men and women. Weight lifting is a fantastic way to boost your fat burning metabolism for long term weight loss. The Insanity Workout is also recommended because I think it’s the most effective workout I’ve ever done.
